Your opponent sends their team too.
The two fronts clash. Type beats type, like rock-paper-scissors with 15 types. 🔥 Fire beats 🌿 Nature.
The winner stays and faces the next foe. When types are even, the higher power (0 to 11) wins.
Certain teams trigger COMBOS for big effects. 🔥 next to a tree makes Wildfire.
Clear the opponent's whole team to win the round. Last emoji standing wins.

Three things decide a clash
Every fight comes down to these, in this order.
The 15-type ring
Each emoji carries up to 3 of 15 types on a ring. A type beats the 7 clockwise of it and loses to the 7 counter-clockwise. Because 15 is odd, no type can dominate. Balance is built in.
Power breaks ties
If the type matchup is even, the higher power level (0 to 11) wins the clash. If power ties too, it is a mutual knockout and both fall.
Specials & combos
Single emoji fire special abilities like Revive, Lifesteal, and Freeze, and certain teams trigger combos. Either one can flip a clash the ring said you would lose.

Rock-paper-scissors, dialled up to 15
Fifteen types sit evenly on a ring. From any one of them, the seven types clockwise are wins and the seven counter-clockwise are losses. That perfect split is why the game stays fair no matter which emoji get popular.
Matchups follow the ring, not real life, so here 🔥 Fire actually beats 💧 Water. Multi-type emoji score every cross-pairing, so a clever mix covers more of the ring.
